      About the SAP HANA Data Modeling Specialist course

      By following the official SAP syllabus, you will learn how the SAP HANA Big Data technology system works in a practical way. You will be trained in the entire SAP architecture and technology, acquiring the professional skills of knowing the SAP HANA database, database design, handling of the HANA SQL and SQLScript languages, creating and managing information views, and developing applications through the XSA engine. This course is entirely oriented towards the modeling and development tasks of the SAP HANA database, attacking it directly without having to depend on an external application server to manage it, but rather using the database's own. It contemplates the creation and manipulation of objects in it, through different channels and languages, as well as the database's own programming language, in addition to the design of structures dedicated to the analysis of data in it, and the programming of query environments for users. Learn how to design, create, and maintain the necessary objects within our database so that it meets our expectations of efficiency and performance. Understanding the programming possibilities it offers, and introduction to user application development.

      • SAP BW: Traditional data warehouse that uses HANA as a foundation to gain speed, but maintains its own structure, payloads, and reporting tools.

      Key differences with SAP BW

      • BW: business-oriented data warehouse framework.

      • Relationship: BW uses HANA to gain speed, but maintains its own structure.
